Ageing oven

 

 

• To evaluate the performances of an anticorrosion protection or a coating on metal materials
• To test the stamina of polymers, paint, varnish on several substrat under ageing conditions
• To analyse the effect of acid rain, corrosion by sulfur dioxide 
• For a quality controle on metal coating by detecting the presence of porisity (corrosion with nitric acid et acid vapors)
• To model an interfacial phenomenon

Materia Nova have several room or oven :

• Working under saline atmosphere (saline fog , acetic saline fog)
• Exposing samples to UVA, UVB  or to a spectra similar to the sun (Xenon)
• Testing the stamina of materials to industrial atmosphere or for an aeronautic use (acid rain, corrosion by sulfur dioxide)
• Testing sample to the exposure of day/night cycles

Materia Nova carries out also some electrochemical test

• to obtain results on a very short period of time (several hours or few days)
• to identify default in the sample (adhesion, porosity,...)
