eSPRIDIAG
Start of the project: 01-01-2023
End of project: 31-12-2026
General objective:
The aim of the project is to transform a demonstrator based on SPR (surface plasmon resonance) technology into a fully automated, high-performance, market-ready diagnostic platform. This next-generation solution will enable the simultaneous analysis of up to 70 autoimmune biomarkers, using specially designed multiplexed test cassettes. Aimed at clinical laboratories as well as research players, it will meet the growing needs for precision diagnostics, new biomarker discovery and high-throughput analysis.
Materia Nova's mission:
Materia Nova is in charge of developing the disposable polymer SPR sensor, ensuring the deposition of metal layers (gold or aluminum), their functionalization for protein adhesion, and surface analysis. It is also optimizing processes for large-scale production, while assessing the optical compatibility of materials and their environmental impact.
