His Majesty King Philippe honoured Materia Nova with his presence on the occasion of a double celebration: the 25th anniversary of our research centre and the 60th anniversary of the Faculty of Science at the University of Mons.
The King was able to view several demonstrations illustrating our strategic themes – safe and sustainable circular materials, decarbonisation/defossilisation solutions and Life Cycle Thinking – highlighting the expertise not only of our researchers but also of the lecturers and students from UMONS, the Haute Ecole Provinciale de Hainaut – Condorcet and the Hainaut Higher School.
🔁 This royal visit was also a special opportunity for dialogue with the students, who shared their current projects and their ambitions for the future.
