PROTEBOOST

The PROTEBOOST project aims at the implementation of disruptive technologies allowing the development of healthy and attractive food products, rich in proteins from innovative sources of fresh microbial biomass: purple bacteria.

PROTEBOOST will consider the entire value chain for the production of microbial biomass-based foods. In particular, the project will address the harvesting and preservation processes of fresh protein-rich biomass. In addition, PROTEBOOST will develop innovative solutions for the transformation and implementation of this fresh biomass into food.
