Training: Alternatives to hard chrome plating – Master dry deposition

Two days of training dedicated to dry deposition (Direct Energy Deposition (DED) and Plasma Transfer Arc (PTA)), organised as part of the Interreg France–Wallonia–Flanders ACHEVALD project.

A unique opportunity to explore metal coatings, combining theory and practice:

17 March (online): Fundamentals of dry and wet deposition, applications with a focus on chrome and nickel deposition.
19 March (in person at CRITT MI, 9 rue Claude Chrétien, 08000 Charleville-Mézières, France and at PLATINIUM 3D, 131 Av. Charles de Gaulle, 08000 Charleville-Mézières, France): Implementation of dry deposition (DED and PTA), hardness tests, microscopic analyses (SEM-EDX), and more!

This training course is aimed at professionals, researchers, technicians and students who wish to strengthen their skills in surface treatment.
