ILES – Axis 3 – Hydrogen storage

ILES – Axis 3 aims to develop and validate innovative and safe solutions for hydrogen transport and storage, supporting the emergence of a hydrogen economy. It focuses on multi-material solutions, hydrogen barrier technologies, and advanced characterization equipment, covering the entire value chain.
ILES – Axis 3 plans to demonstrate hydrogen barrier solutions on real installation components, in particular hollow structures, to prove the feasibility of retrofit applications. The project also includes the implementation of a rapid characterization system to assess the hydrogen barrier properties of various materials.
