General objective: to develop materials or processes for advanced manufacturing technologies based on industrial needs, integrating the development of new alloys, improving process robustness and ultimately aiming to implement environmental indicators to facilitate process selection.
Materia Nova's missions: As part of the Wi³ning portfolio, and more specifically through the Plamsa4AM project, developments are proposed to support advanced manufacturing and its deployment on an industrial scale. Materia Nova's objective is to develop materials or processes for advanced manufacturing technologies based on industrial needs by integrating the development of new alloys, improving process robustness and ultimately aiming to implement environmental indicators to facilitate process selection.
Partners: These activities, which will cover functional materials, reparability, robustness and sustainable AM within the Wi³ning portfolio, will be developed in close collaboration with UMONS, UCL, ULB and ULiège and the CRM, SIRRIS, Cenaero and CRIBC research centres. they will be coordinated with the activities of other operators in the portfolio within the various areas.
