The final ambition of the project is to design a textile combining three functionalities:

1. Capturing RF energy.
2. Storing it in electrochemical form within batteries or supercapacitors.
3. Using it to emit ambient light autonomously via the integration of OLEDs, organic light emitting diodes, into the textile.

The challenges concern the design of new textile fibres, their implementation, the adaptation of the textile support to allow the integration of functionalities without altering the properties of the support. OLED devices, RF-WIFI antennas and energy storage devices will have to be designed as discreetly as possible and without altering the performance of the devices.
