Salt spray test chambers: ISO 9227 / ASTM B 117; acetic)

A salt spray chamber is used to perform accelerated aging tests on coatings (paint, sol-gel, metallic deposit, ...) according to standards well known by the industry (for example ASTM B 117, ISO 9227). With these tests, the corrosion resistance of materials can be evaluated. Salt spray tests can project from a few hours ahead to several thousand hours ahead depending on the resistance of the materials to be characterized.
