WBDurapaint aims to develop and characterize new water-based biosourced paint systems.

Thus the objective of the WBDurapaint project is to develop new paint systems without equivalent on the market today, with high performance (corrosion, UV and fire resistance) and low environmental impact: without toxic compounds (without isocyanates) and with very low VOC emissions. These paints will have the right properties and performance for the protection of metal, wood and floors for interior and exterior applications in the building and transport sectors, key industrial sectors in the INTERREG area.

To meet these different challenges, a multidisciplinary cross-border platform involving five internationally recognized research centers has been set up to bring together all the skills needed to successfully complete this project. The clearly stated ambition here is to develop innovative and economically viable painting solutions to cover a wide range of applications that can be developed in the medium term within companies in the INTERREG area.

Objectives and missions of Materia Nova
