The idea is to design light-emitting surfaces for planar and diffuse lighting applications (interior ambient lighting, decoration and design, but also for security (signage and night visibility). This type of surface can be obtained thanks to OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) technology.
OLED's devices, manufactured mainly from organic semiconductor materials, offer many advantages such as low power consumption and flexibility, and can fit any type of surface, opening the way to many domestic applications.
- Validation of concepts and adaptation of OLED's manufacturing processes at lab scale on all types of flat, shaped, rigid, flexible, transparent or opaque surfaces (glass, steel, stainless steel, plastic, paper, textile).
- Expertise in the knowledge of organic, inorganic and hybrid semiconductor materials as well as in their implementation in the form of thin layers on various substrates, including textiles.
- Design and structuring for aesthetic applications.
- Mastery of the encapsulation stages.
